Man’s best friend is a personal project centered around a dogs identity.
Pets often become apart of their owners identity whilst they have so much personality on their own.
With this project I study the behaviour of dogs in public and challenge viewers to read the dog more deeply.
The photographs leave out any identifiable human facial features.
I originally did this to allow people to agree to be photographed more easily.
But this actually turned into the core of the project.
With human emotion removed a viewer needs to look deeper at the image.
